We are pleased to announce that Dr. DeQuan F. Bivins has joined our practice. Dr. Bivins brings over 13 years of experience, as well as a warm and friendly personality, to our team. Dr. Bivins is a talented and accomplished dentist who approaches his profession with passion and humility. Dr. Bivins was raised in a very structured environment by his grandparents in rural South Georgia. Dr. Bivins attended undergrad at Fort Valley Stale University, receiving a B.S. degree in Animal Science in 2001.

After graduating from Fort Valley State, Dr. Bivins was accepted to Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.. where he excelled as a denial student, graduating with his Doctorate o f Dental Surgery Degree in 2005.

Upon graduation, Dr. Bivins moved directly into private practice in Washington. D. C, where he practiced for 2 1/2 years. Dr. Bivins also provided dental care in the underserved areas of Washington. D.C., where he observed an abundance of neglected dental health, lack of dental knowledge, and medically compromised patients. This experience fueled Dr. Bivins’ passion, as he realized his purpose in life is to serve his community with exceptional dentistry and to raise awareness of the importance of good dental health.

Dr. Bivins returned to his home state in 2007 to provide his services to the wonderful citizens of Georgia. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (D.O.C.S.) Dr. Bivins has completed countless Continuing Education courses over his 13 year career. The knowledge gained from these courses has increased Dr. Bivins’ capacity to treat complex cases and to provide more specialty services to his patients.

Dr. Bivins has served on the teaching faculty at the highly esteemed Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentisty (C.A.R.D.) in Dallas, TX since 2015. This organization teaches Dentists all aspects of Dentisty with a focus on treating complex dental cases. Dr. Bivins is very happy to join Byrd Dental Group and hopes to gain the trust of the citizens and communities of Woodstock and to provide them with exceptional dental services.
